  I purchased a water softener when I was remodeling my home in 2012 from a competitor. The competitor's product may have worked a couple of months, if that. The softener had not used salt in over a year, and I was on the monthly salt route! (You would THINK they would have noticed it wasn't working). The competitor repeatedly came out to fix the softener to no avail. When I phoned them the last time they responded that they couldn't fix it and gave me a quote for a new softener.
  I found out about Soft Water Solutions, LLC, from a friend and phoned them. They came out that day and checked my softener. I had a bad unit basically that had never worked, from their competitor. Within a day or two, I had soft water. I signed up for their salt route, which means that I will never have to dump 50# of salt and they check my unit every other month to make sure it is working properly and the unit check is included in the cost of the salt.
