  14 months ago I traded a 2006 Ford F-250 in excellent condition to Coastal Plains Cars of Morehead City NC, for a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. Less than 60 miles later the check engine light came on. I went back 3x that same day to get it taken care of. It was not taken care of at all. Over the course of this past 14 months, I have made almost monthly trips back in to get it taken care of, only to still not pass inspection, lost all brakes 2 times in two months on dangerous roads and in even more dangerous conditions. All the while the owner, Thomas Van Staagen assured me it would be fixed. It has not been. I am now being forced to take the man to court. He sold a flood damaged camaro to a co worker and was taken to court for that as well. Do NOT purchase a vehicle from this man, nor get any work done in his shop. In my opinion, he is a crook and knowingly sells dangerous vehicles to unsuspecting customers.
